Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who was in Taiwan on a previously planned trip on the day İmamoğlu was detained, arrived in Istanbul early this morning.

Yavaş made statements to journalists. When asked about rumors that an investigation might be launched against him as well, Yavaş said, "Since the day I became mayor, anyone can examine my bank accounts; they are open. But it seems to me that they might find some deviant person and have them say things against us."
