According to the report by İsmail Saymaz; A new presiding judge and panel have been formed at the 13th High Criminal Court, which is overseeing the case.
Şenol Kartal, President of the 24th High Criminal Court, has been appointed as the presiding judge to review the retrial request filed by Kavala's lawyer. Judges Mücahit Kemal Yamak and Enes Budak, who were part of the 13th High Criminal Court but did not participate in the Gezi Park verdict, have been appointed as member judges.
