Talent manager Ayşe Barım, who recently made headlines over allegations of monopolization in the acting industry, was arrested on January 27 as part of the Gezi Park investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "aiding in the attempt to overthrow the government."

The investigation conducted into Barım has been completed and the indictment has been prepared.

The indictment against Barım, who faces a prison sentence of 22 to 30 years, has been accepted by the Istanbul 26th High Criminal Court.

In the prepared indictment, it is alleged that Ayşe Barım committed the crime of "aiding in the attempt to overthrow the Government of the Republic of Turkey."

Talent manager Ayşe Barım will appear before the judge for the first time on July 7.
