Breaking News... Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office announces names: 14 detained, 2 arrest warrants issued in drug investigation
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued a statement regarding the detentions made as part of the latest wave of operations in a drug investigation it is conducting. The statement noted, "14 suspects have been detained. Arrest warrants have been issued for 2 suspects."

In the latest operation carried out overnight as part of the drug investigation, detention orders were issued for famous names including Fikret Orman, Hakan Sabancı, Burak Elmas, Didem Soydan, and Hande Erçel.
In a statement regarding the operation, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that detention orders were issued for a total of 16 people. The statement read, "Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; an investigation has been initiated against the relevant individuals in order to protect the general morality of society, the social structure, and family order.
When the work carried out and the evidence collected are evaluated together, detention instructions were issued for a total of 16 suspects who possess drugs for personal use or facilitate the use of drugs. Regarding the incident subject to the investigation, simultaneous operations were carried out at 16 addresses by teams from the Istanbul Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch to apprehend the suspects, and 14 suspects were detained. Arrest warrants have been issued for 2 suspects. The investigation is being carried out meticulously in all its aspects."
NAMES SUBJECT TO DETENTION ORDERS REVEALED
The names for whom detention orders were issued in the operation have been revealed. At this stage of the investigation, detention orders were issued for Fikret Orman, Güzide Duran, Kerim Sabancı, Hakan Sabancı, Burak Elmas, Sezgin Köysüren, Hande Erçel, Ferhat Aydın, Lütfiye Tuğçe Özbudak, Koray Serenli, Onur Bükçü, İsmail Behram Perinçekli, Kaan Mellart, Didem Soydan, Onur Talay, and Mustafa Tari.
It was stated that while Fikret Orman and Güzide Duran were detained together, Kerim Sabancı was detained at Istanbul Airport upon his arrival from abroad. On the other hand, it was learned that actress Hande Erçel, for whom a detention order was issued, is currently abroad.
