İYİ Party leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu spoke at his party's group meeting.

İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
We are at our TBMM Group Meeting... #TheRepublicWillWin https://t.co/lZr6455TAk
— İYİ Party (@iyiparti) March 26, 2025
Dervişoğlu's speech is as follows:
"To the great Turkish nation
To its individuals with free minds and free consciences;
To its children who grieve
For the honor, dignity, and existence of the red flag with the crescent and star;
I greet you with respect and love!
Welcome to our group meeting, you have honored us.
My dear nation,
In history, there have been times when heroes were labeled traitors and traitors were labeled heroes.
However, it has never been seen before that enemies of the nation and the state were made partners in power.
To seek votes from the nation by using terrorism as an excuse, and then to make a terrorist a partner in one's power;
is the lowest and most disgraceful aspect of a fondness for sultanate and decay.
In the Republic of Turkey,
in the middle of Istanbul,
videos of a convicted terrorist are being played, and their messages are being broadcast.
While the terrorist organization, its leader, and those who praise them are treated as apostles of peace,
Mustafa Kemal's soldiers are being dismissed and labeled as traitors.
Meanwhile, murderous mobs are being promised a 'right to hope' and offered a share of power.
Rags are being waved in the squares as if to spite the glorious Turkish flag.
Yes, I call them rags!
Placed on equal footing with our flag, which is the sole symbol of this great nation's freedom and independence,
The name for those pieces of cloth waved with treacherous ambitions is rags.
Where does the 'So-called New Turkey,' packaged and marketed as the 'Century of Turkey,' fit into this?
This is what truly needs to be asked!
For those who yearn for reason, conscience, justice, and democracy,
For those who want what is reasonable and acceptable; we are going through difficult times.
It is difficult for us, but;
For those who view the Turkish homeland as a plot of land for sale, the Turkish nation as slaves, the Turkish state as a business, and the Turkish bureaucracy as their own staff,
Who polarize citizens by dividing, fragmenting, and alienating them,
These are the favorite times for those who build their power upon this betrayal.
For those who make any decision that comes to mind whenever they want,
Who reverse their decisions whenever they please,
And who, when it does not suit them, take the right and audacity to declare everyone
a terrorist, vandal, looter, or traitor; these are good times for the oblivious and the shameless.
For the one who holds the sole authority to make decisions, the one who has the sole right to speak,
Who cannot say Turkish state - Turkish flag - Turkish nation - Turkish homeland,
Even while saying single state - single flag - single nation - single homeland;
These are happy times for this selfish mentality that actually defines the ONE-MAN REGIME.
And it is precisely at this point;
I would like to ask the one who protects his own precious self from a needle while stabbing his nation with a spear,
The one who has MONOPOLIZED the legislature, the executive, and the judiciary;
So many people, young and old, women and men, workers and retirees,
What are the nationalists, the conservatives, and the social democrats protesting?
Do you ever give it any thought?
Do you think about it?
The citizens of the Republic of Türkiye are objecting to something.
Do you ask yourself what this could be?
Just for once,
Are you approaching the truth of the Presidential office, upon which you swore an oath on your honor and dignity?
I am even thinking on your behalf, and I am saddened on your behalf.
For instance; do you say, 'I am mortal'?
We believe in the Day of Judgment, so are you not worried at all?
Were you always like this?
You are the one being addressed today by all the words you once said to the governments of yesterday!
You are the one who makes a man old enough to be your father kiss your hand!
You are the one who,
Without blinking an eye, slanders young people the age of your grandchildren as looters!
Young people holding Turkish flags in their hands
You are the one who feels no shame while labeling others as vandals!
You are also the one who treats those who curse the murderers in İmralı and Kandil—with whom you have formed an alliance—as enemies!
Emboldened by your ONE-MAN RULE, you are the one who repeatedly tramples on the rights of the people and spits on the ground.
I have said it before, and I will continue to say it!
They came with a crisis, settled in with a state of emergency, and want to stay through chaos.
They never hesitated to pit brother against brother, and they still do not.
To our security forces, who carry out the instructions given by their superiors,
I am addressing you;
With the excitement of your youth, the power of your badges, and the self-confidence provided by your state duty
Stay away from things you will regret in the future.
Do not let your sacred duty and your uniform
Be tarnished by the arrogance and ambition of those who think they are the state.
I am the age of your fathers, or for some of you, your older brother.
I have seen many things on those streets, in those squares,
But rest assured that;
I have never seen those who view our people as pawns in those places.
They were always in their comfortable seats.
They would talk about the homeland, the nation, the flag, religion, and the call to prayer.
Most of all, they would talk about the state.
I have seen many who were ashamed and regretful of their actions,
And many whose pangs of conscience never ceased for years.
My brothers and sisters, listen to me. I do not want you to experience those torments.
To those sitting in bureaucratic and judicial offices,
The orders coming from the Palace and the AK Party Headquarters,
I am also addressing those who signed before the phone call even ended!
Do not lean on a tree, it will wither,
Do not trust a person, they will die.
Only one thing is eternal,
And that is the great Turkish nation!
Remember!
Not much time has passed,
Those dark days are still in our memories.
The phrase 'Silivri is cold' is a legacy from those days.
Remember those who thought they could prosper through conspiracies, ambushes, and chaos.
They, too, thought they were powerful,
And because they were powerful, they thought they were right.
They enacted laws, bent existing ones to their own benefit, and used the judiciary as a cudgel.
They extended their dirty hands and shameless intentions even to our honorable Turkish military.
While all of this was happening, the government was the same as it is today.
The AK Party Chairman was the same,
Even though they were subjected to rotation today, the political figures were the same.
The statements he made while Ekrem İmamoğlu was in custody,
He was making the same ones during the Ergenekon and Balyoz conspiracies.
He was even saying, 'I am the prosecutor of this case.'
Remember!
Wake up! Come to your senses!
The community that should not be bitten twice from the same hole,
The noble children of the Turkish nation who emerged from Ergenekon,
The will you are facing is always the same will.
Only the subcontractors change.
But what is deemed appropriate for you does not change,
Your unfortunate fate does not change.
Remember the latest example and its outcome.
Do not forget the night of July 15, when the nation gathered its state from the streets.
When their interests clashed with their subcontractors,
Remember how this government and its owner, Erdoğan, washed their hands of it and walked away.
Remember the state of emergency they declared, and how they burned the innocent along with the guilty!
Remember that they held the referendum, in which they counted unstamped and invalid votes, under state of emergency conditions,
Remember them claiming that they were making the constitution civilian with that referendum,
And remember how they fortified the ONE-MAN regime.
We know from history the fate of nations that forget their past.
The user manual for being the Turkish nation, the Turkish homeland, the Turkish state, and the Turkish flag
Was entrusted to us 101 years ago as the Republic.
A pair of blue eyes saw these days from 100 years ago.
He explained one by one what we need to do, left nothing to chance, wrote it down, and left it.
I want it to be known
The Turkish nation's
Patience is hard.
But when it cracks, the heavens split!
Let the power-holder chasing chaos and conspiracies know that;
What they think they own,
Is the KUT (divine mandate) of the Turkish nation!
And its name is the Republic!
It exists through freedom,
It is eternal through justice.
The title deed of the state belongs to no one!
THE COURT IS NOT THE PROPERTY OF THE JUDGE!
Not the tutelage of the palace,
There is not a single fool in a thousand worlds who could usurp it.
Many have tried, but all of them,
It was crushed under the free and unerring will of the nation.
It was ruined, it was devastated, it was disgraced.
Rest assured that,
The justice of justices will manifest!
Because that great scale,
The conscience scale of the honorable and dignified Turkish nation,
Did not err yesterday, and it will not err today or tomorrow!
Let it not be forgotten that!
With oppression, with the violation of rights,
Power derived from traps and ambushes,
Will eventually choke and destroy those who hold it.
History has never recorded otherwise.
The great Turkish nation, the founder of history, has settled this account more than anyone else!
Let those who use the power and authority that belongs to it,
At the cost of its destruction, know this,
Let those who will occupy only as much space as a comma against the giant of history know this,
There comes a moment when,
Those who mistake their three-day lifespan
For an endless reign, and the risks they take,
Will find themselves face to face with the eternal and everlasting existence of national honor and pride!
Woe to those who encounter that storm!
After that storm, all that will remain is
This flag, hoisted with blood, wisdom, and honor,
And the Republic established in its shadow!
My dear nation,
I have been in this world called politics for nearly 50 years.
For 11 months, I have been the chairman of this last bastion, the İYİ Party.
For 11 months, I have been in courthouse corridors and prisons.
In no province, district, or village I have visited
Have I seen a single father who does not hang his head,
A single mother without worries,
Or a single young person smiling with hope and joy!
I have never seen such a system of plunder,
I have never seen such organized evil!
I have never seen a nightmare that tramples so heavily upon the concept of the state,
which I thought would stand with us, and makes me question it at this age!
Lawlessness arises from everything they do,
Chaos is born from every decision they make.
I have never seen such hostility,
sworn to drain the Turkish nation to its very marrow!
Secret witnesses, hypothetical testimonies...
How familiar, isn't it?
Let me tell those who are inclined toward those familiar traps,
You will not be able to legitimize yourselves at any stage of your tyranny.
And tomorrow, you yourselves will fall into the traps you have set now!
Do you think you do not see or hear this nation?
For instance, in the private boxes where your own contractors,
And your own bureaucrats sit,
Do you think the nation doesn't hear what you talk about in your offices and backrooms?
Do you think they don't know about the filth of the last 23 years?
Pull yourselves together!
I am speaking to you, the orderlies of the Palace!
Look at the past and pull yourselves together.
Take a lesson from the pawns of yesterday, from those who were once told their statues would be erected!
The will is the same will; it has not changed.
Tomorrow, it will betray you too and destroy you.
First, you will be labeled a terrorist.
Then, you will either flee or be thrown into the Silivri dungeons!
They ask, 'What will you say if corruption is uncovered tomorrow?'
This question is being asked by those who remain in power through corruption.
And I ask them,
Dozens of inspectors have been sent,
1,300 inspections have been conducted,
And nothing has come out of these inspections,
Moreover, they have technical surveillance, physical tracking, trustees, judicial law enforcement
They have every power you can think of.
But look at this; they are resorting to secret witnesses to settle a score.
And I say this;
Whether corruption was committed here or there, in this way or that, is a matter for inspection and investigation.
Did someone commit a crime or not?
That is a matter for the judiciary!
Well then, to whom does the judiciary belong?
Whose concern is the judiciary?
With the executive in one hand and the judiciary in the other, you hold all the tools of one-man rule like a stick,
You struck and struck, leaving no place unbroken.
In which decision signed 'on behalf of the Turkish nation' to date
has the Turkish nation found its own conscience, that you think it will find it this time!
Who are you trying to fool!
I ask those who cannot even manage to provide a holiday bonus that could only be considered charity now,
With this chaos you have created,
With the billions of dollars spent, evaporated, and destroyed in 3 days,
How many retirees, how many civil servants, and how many workers could have been given how much in holiday bonuses?
As the palace and its entourage say:
The opposition is responsible for this economic cost.
And I ask them,
Have you accounted for the cost to this country of the Istanbul elections you renewed 6 years ago?
Have you accounted for the cost to this country?
Have you accounted for the nation's money that vanished due to the stock market decline and the rise of the dollar?
Have you ever opened an investigation into this?
We all know the answer.
These people, these people!
These people, you know, these people, they think life comes without a price.
They think their decisions come without a price, their mistakes without a price,
They even think their betrayals come without a price.
This nation has paid dearly for the costs of your actions,
I swear that it will not let you rest in either world until you pay the price!
You will pay the price for the 10 million illegal migrants.
You will pay the price for the billions of dollars that evaporated from the stock market and the economy,
You will pay the price for the 793 sons of the nation who were martyred while you were embracing terrorists,
You will pay the price for the unstamped ballots and the stolen elections!
You will pay the price for the 15-year criminal partnership you had with FETÖ,
For those you left to rot in dungeons yesterday,
For the brilliant lieutenants you dismissed from the army today,
And you will pay the price for the honorable commanders you forced into retirement.
So you, those infatuated with power,
Know that, before justice comes to your door,
Before that scale weighs you,
We will not expect justice from any scale!
We will not weigh anyone before we weigh you!
Until our struggle with you is over,
Until our fight for justice, freedom, and the homeland is over,
Until our fight against your betrayal plans, your collaborators, and your terrorist partners is over,
Until our fight with your rotten, anti-Republic minds is over,
We will not end the fight.
And you, Erdoğan,
You think the Republic you are fighting against is just the institutions you have seized,
Know that the Republic is the fight itself.
And I swear that the winner will be the Turkish nation.
My dear nation;
As we enter another holiday within this nightmare
While the beautiful, honorable, and dignified people of this country hang their heads in shame,
Terrorists and murderers are celebrating, they are holding festivities.
The Turkish nation, which cannot even see spring during the spring festival,
In this holy month where resentment, bitterness, estrangement, and hostility are forbidden,
Is disillusioned with life, at odds with living,
And has been marked as an enemy by those who do not govern the state, but rather usurp it.
They do not hear, and they will not hear...
They do not see, and they will not see...
They do not understand, and they will not understand...
This is our concern, these are the cries for justice.
And this is no longer called politics, it cannot be!
Because politics is conducted in a normal country, in normal times.
Today is not a day for political opportunism, but a day for struggle.
Let no one confuse politics with the struggle.
And let no one think that against those who mistake themselves for the nation and the state,
we are waging a personal struggle.
Politics is the sharing and exercise of power on behalf of the nation.
Today is the day to fight against those who have usurped this power,
Those who use that power to rob the true owner of the power,
And those who beat, curse, make people cry, and drown them in pain and suffering.
The government,
Blinds eyes with its media,
Numbs minds with its lies,
And silences with its ruthlessness,
It is exhausting with its injustice,
Our youth become police officers and are pelted with stones,
They become citizens and are beaten with batons.
This is the chain that must be broken,
This is the cycle that must be exited.
Precisely for this reason,
Let no one mistake struggling for being an opponent.
We are honest Turkish citizens, loyal to the Republic.
We are not the opposition; we are the majority.
Yes, we are the majority.
We are neither few nor a minority!
We are the ones who founded this homeland in the plains of Sakarya,
in the steppes of Anatolia,
in the Taurus Mountains,
in the streets of burning İzmir!
If those who built their power at the tables of Soros are not ashamed,
Should we be ashamed of the streets?
Say it out loud, do not be ashamed!
The Taurus Mountains are ours,
The fields, the plains, the highlands are ours!
The streets are ours!
The palaces are yours, the squares are ours!
And no matter what happens,
No matter how long it takes,
Not tyranny, but freedom,
Not the Palace, but the Republic will prevail!
Our place and our side are clear!
We will not remain silent!
Those who remain silent in the face of this process today,
Cannot say "we did not know" before history tomorrow.
Everything is happening right before our eyes.
Turkey is a place where democracy is trampled upon,
A period has begun where rights and freedoms are trampled upon,
Where the right to vote and be elected is usurped,
Where separatism has gained legitimacy,
Where betrayal is applauded,
And where nationalism is being forced into silence.
The economy is deteriorating day by day.
Social peace has been damaged.
Politics is experiencing instability.
Turkey is practically a place on fire!
The responsibility to extinguish this fire of betrayal rests on our shoulders.
The only way to stop this downward spiral is,
To continue shouting the truth,
To resonate with the nation's conscience and strengthen the sense of trust.
We will continue to stand by our nation and defend the values of the Republic.
We will continue our struggle to ensure this great nation lives with the dignity of being human.
Adapting to the conditions of the time,
We will not act in a utilitarian, opportunistic, or exploitative manner!
The unity of our nation, the indivisibility of our homeland,
And protecting and upholding our freedom and independence, which we won by paying a great price,
We will consider a historical duty.
You will see, we will be rewarded for staying on the right path.
We defend justice.
We oppose lawlessness.
Our focus is not on events and perceptions, but on the truth.
The nation does not fill the squares out of a mere desire for opposition.
They are in those squares to defend their violated rights...
They are in those squares because they are rebelling against corruption, lawlessness, and injustice...
They are in those squares because retirees, widows, and orphans cannot boil their pots...
They are in those squares because shopkeepers are closing their stores without making a single sale...
They are in those squares because farmers cannot get the return for their labor...
They are in those squares because our workers are condemned to a life below the hunger threshold...
They are in those squares because our youth are forced to seek their future in visa queues...
Without getting stuck in any quagmire, with perseverance and determination,
We will continue our journey with the indisputable realities of our nation.
God will extend a helping hand to us, and the nation will acknowledge our rights and the righteousness of our cause.
We are ready!
We believe, we will succeed!
We will bring this great nation, which deserves the best of everything, to a free, prosperous, happy, peaceful, and bright future.
With these beliefs and thoughts, I congratulate you on our blessed Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr), wish you holidays that feel like true celebrations, and greet you all with my most sincere wishes, love, and respect.
Thank you, long live, may you be entrusted to God.
