Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who entered the election as the sole candidate, was re-elected as president.
Yavaş had previously announced that a consensus had been reached with the AKP candidate, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç.
