Fatih Altaylı IS IN BAHÇELİ'S SIGHTS

In his wide-ranging statement, Bahçeli also addressed the agenda concerning journalist Fatih Altaylı, who was arrested on charges of threatening the president following a campaign by the Palace.

"NO ONE IS UNTOUCHABLE"

Targeting Altaylı without naming him, Bahçeli said, "No one is untouchable." and stated the following:

"It is my advice and wish that some so-called journalists, half-intellectuals, and bile-filled experts, who violate the boundaries of freedom of expression and plant the hatred that has nested in their souls into their words and assessments like a bomb at every opportunity, do not forget that Turkey is a state of law.

No one is untouchable.

Those who make references to the present day with historical examples and those who are parties to speeches with an indigestible dose of threats must realize that Turkey is not a thoroughfare."
