Turkey has been battling forest fires for days. There are fires that have not yet been fully brought under control due to the insufficiency of aerial intervention and the effect of the wind.

Yumaklı said, "Although the fires in Karabük Safranbolu, Antalya Gazipaşa, and Bursa Kestel had been partially brought under control, we are sharing the information today that they have been fully brought under control due to the risks they posed. In other words, 5 fires in our 4 provinces have been brought under control. The Bursa Harmancık fire is continuing."
"HARMANCIK FIRE IS CONTINUING"
In his statement, Yumaklı said the following:
"In the last 24 hours, 55 fires have broken out in our country. One of the fires with the potential to grow among these was another fire in the Kahyalar neighborhood of the central district, 7 kilometers away from the Karabük Safranbolu fire.
We have completely brought this fire under control. Another was the fire in the National Park area in Uşak Banaz. We have also completely brought this fire under control.
There is only one ongoing fire, which is the Harmancık fire in Bursa.
Our teams are intervening in the burning area with 5 planes, 30 helicopters, and 855 land vehicles.
I believe that in the coming hours, we will share good news regarding this area with the public."
