10 people lost their lives and 32 were injured in the hotel fire that broke out at the Bolu Kartalkaya Ski Center.
The fire, which was reported around 03:30 in the morning, was brought under control after 10 hours. Cooling efforts by the teams are ongoing.
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that 6 public prosecutors have been assigned to the disaster and an expert committee has been formed.
It was learned that there were 234 people in the hotel during the fire disaster, in which 10 deaths and 32 injuries were reported. No statement has been made yet regarding the 192 people who are unaccounted for.
It was noted that the injured were transferred to 4 separate hospitals.

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya used the following expressions in his statement:
The first report was received at 03:27. The teams took action. The first intervention was made at 04:15. The fire has now been extinguished, and cooling efforts are continuing.
Minister of Health Kemal Memişoğlu stated that there are a total of 57 injured, with 1 in critical condition. At the same time, 17 patients have been discharged.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said, 'Fire compliance permits were requested, and a fire compliance certificate issued by the fire department exists. This authority and competence lie with the fire department. Inspections must be carried out by the fire department. To date, no negative notification has been made to us by the fire department.'
Minister of Culture and Tourism Ersoy stated that there were a total of 2 fire escapes.
