The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has made an important statement regarding the operations conducted and measures taken in the Black Sea since March 26, 2022, when the war between Russia and Ukraine began.

The Ministry reported that reconnaissance, surveillance, patrol, and the neutralization of mines, UAVs, USVs, and found munitions in the Black Sea are continuing without interruption.

A TOTAL OF 275 SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS DETECTED

According to the statement made by the MSB, a total of 275 suspicious objects have been detected during this period. It was stated that these objects were identified as various mines, kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and kamikaze unmanned surface vehicles (USVs).

DESTRUCTION OF SUSPICIOUS OBJECTS

Of the suspicious objects detected, 10 were identified as mines, 8 as kamikaze UAVs, and 11 as kamikaze USVs. The MSB announced that all these suspicious objects were successfully neutralized and that the destruction operations were carried out successfully by SAS Teams.
