Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin has changed the date of the central exam within the scope of the 2026 High School Transition System (LGS). In his statement, Tekin said, "We have decided to hold the LGS, which was planned for June 14, on Saturday, June 13, at the same time."

Minister Tekin stated that the reason for the change in the exam date was that the June 14 date conflicted with national matches in the 2026 World Cup. The Ministry of National Education stated that changing this date would be appropriate so that students do not miss the match time.
