Breaking News: New development in terror investigation targeting CHP municipalities
34 suspects, including former employees of the Ataşehir, Maltepe, Sarıyer, and Şişli municipalities who were detained on allegations of providing financing to the terrorist organization DHKP/C, have been referred to the courthouse.

Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations that financing was provided to the terrorist organization DHKP-C through municipal tenders, 34 people, including personnel working at the Şişli, Sarıyer, Ataşehir, and Maltepe municipalities, had been detained.
While former Maltepe Mayor Ali Kılıç is included in the investigation as a victim, former Şişli Mayor Hasan Hayri İnönü and former Şişli Deputy Mayor Abdurrahman Emir Sarıgül were also summoned to testify as witnesses.
It has been learned that the police procedures for the 34 detained individuals have been completed.
Following health checks, the 34 suspects, including former Sarıyer Mayor Şükrü Genç, were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan.
