Breaking News: New development in the 4th wave operation against IMM
It has been reported that the interrogation of the 45 people detained in the 4th wave of the investigation launched into allegations of corruption at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has begun.

The investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into allegations of corruption at the IMM continues.
Of the 49 people for whom detention warrants were issued in the 4th wave of the investigation, 45 have been taken into custody.
The 45 individuals, who were detained in an operation conducted by the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch following the detection of certain irregularities during inspections at İSTAÇ, KİPTAŞ, and the Road Maintenance Department, are currently being processed.
The interrogation of the suspects, who were taken to the Istanbul Police Department's Vatan Street campus, has begun.
Meanwhile, teams are continuing their efforts to apprehend the 4 remaining fugitive suspects.
Action was taken following allegations of irregularities discovered during inspections at İSTAÇ, KİPTAŞ, and the Road Maintenance Department as part of the investigation.
In this context, 45 suspects—including KİPTAŞ Chairman of the Board Ali Kurt, İSTAÇ Chairman of the Board Ziya Gökmen Togay, IMM Head of Road Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination Department Seyfullah Demirel, IMM Chief of Staff Kadriye Kasapoğlu, Ekrem İmamoğlu's security chief Mustafa Akın, IMM Head of Mukhtar Affairs Department Yavuz Saltık, and Yapı Merkezi Construction owners Mustafa Başar Arıoğlu, Erdem Arıoğlu, and Özge Arıoğlu—were detained in simultaneous operations conducted by the Istanbul Police Department's Financial Crimes Investigation Branch in Istanbul, İzmir, Trabzon, Antalya, Tunceli, and Kocaeli.
On the other hand, Kadriye Kasapoğlu, one of the suspects previously detained as part of the same investigation, had been released under judicial control.
