In a statement regarding the investigation, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated: “Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, N.Ö.K., a civilian who acted as an intermediary for communication between the fugitive defendant S.S. and the suspect Ş.D., has been detained upon the instructions of our Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. There are currently 8 suspects in custody. The examination of the suspects' digital devices is ongoing. It is respectfully announced that the public will be informed as developments occur in the investigation.”
