Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made a new statement on his social media account regarding the incidents that occurred after the Trabzonspor - Fenerbahçe match.

Yerlikaya reported that, according to initial findings, 12 people have been apprehended and taken into custody.

Yerlikaya's statement is as follows;

"Regarding the incidents that occurred after the Trabzonspor-Fenerbahçe Süper Lig football match played last night, 12 individuals have been apprehended and taken into custody according to initial findings. 

The individual named C.K., who threw a foreign object at Fenerbahçe Manager İsmail Kartal during the match, was identified during the game, apprehended, taken into custody, and the necessary investigation has been initiated against him.

The hotel where the individual named H.Ç., who was the first to jump onto the pitch after the match, was staying was identified. Research conducted at the hotel revealed that the individual had left, and upon receiving information that he was heading in the direction of Rize, he was apprehended in the Yomra district as a result of the efforts, and the necessary investigation has been initiated against him.

It was determined that the individual who jumped onto the pitch at the end of the match, grabbed the corner flag, and ran toward the players had entered the stadium using the Passolig belonging to C.Ç., and it was understood that the individual who entered the pitch was not the Passolig holder. Upon examination, the individual named E.T. who entered the pitch was apprehended in the Araklı district, and the necessary investigation has been initiated.

It was determined that the individual who entered the pitch at the end of the match and assaulted Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Dominic Livakovic was O.B.; the individual was apprehended in the Kalkınma neighborhood, and the necessary investigation has been initiated against him.

Individuals identified as T.C.S., K.M., O.O., E.T., and A.A., who called fans to the airport by posting on social media, have been apprehended and the necessary investigations have been initiated against them. 

As a result of camera footage analysis conducted after the match, A.S. and B.T., who were identified as having entered the pitch, 

have been apprehended, and the necessary investigations have been initiated against them.

Judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated regarding the 12 individuals identified so far. The investigation and inquiry into the events that took place are ongoing."
