Breaking News: New wave in drug investigation! 22 detention warrants issued
It has been learned that detention warrants have been issued for 22 people as part of a drug investigation.

A new development has occurred in the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Simultaneous operations were carried out in Muğla, Adana, and Antalya as part of the investigation centered in Istanbul.
Arrest warrants were issued for 22 people.
APPARATUS SEIZED
During the searches, cocaine, cannabis, and apparatus used for drug consumption were seized.
STATEMENT FROM THE ISTANBUL CHIEF PUBLIC PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE
A statement regarding the operation was also released by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
The statement included the following:
"Within the scope of the investigation conducted by our Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Smuggling, Narcotics and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau; regarding the crimes of Manufacturing and Trafficking of Narcotic Substances, Providing special places, equipment or materials to facilitate the use of narcotic or stimulant substances, Taking measures to make it difficult for users to be caught, Purchasing, accepting or possessing narcotic or stimulant substances for use, or using narcotic or stimulant substances, and Encouraging and Mediating Prostitution; as part of the operation carried out simultaneously by the Istanbul Police Department on 24.12.2025, centered in Istanbul and including the provinces of Muğla, Adana, and Antalya, to apprehend 22 suspects for whom detention, search, and seizure warrants were issued, it was understood that 1 suspect was already in prison, 20 suspects were apprehended and taken into custody, and apprehension procedures are ongoing for 1 suspect. In the searches conducted at the residences of the suspects;
- cocaine substance
- cannabis substance
- apparatus used for drug consumption were seized.
The investigation is continuing with confidentiality and diligence."
