AN EXPERT HAD BEEN APPOINTED
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office had announced that, within the scope of the investigation conducted into the Ahbap Association, the allegations regarding the use of donations and aid collected by the Ahbap Association following the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes that occurred on February 6, 2023, were being examined in all aspects.
The statement included the following expressions:
"In order to reveal the material truth, it has been decided to appoint an expert committee consisting of experts in their fields to determine whether the collected donations and aid were used in accordance with the determined purposes and relevant legislation.
