An operation was conducted at Beşiktaş Municipality as part of an investigation into 'bribery and money laundering' led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
According to reports by Enes Geyik from Haber Global, 90 thousand dollars and 5 thousand euros in foreign currency, alleged to have been obtained through criminal activity, were seized during the searches.
The individuals detained as part of the operation are as follows:
1- Cevdet Ç. (Former Deputy Mayor of Beşiktaş)
2- Bülent K. (Beşiktaş Municipality Personnel Services Manager)
3- Özlem K. (Sarbel Organization Office Worker)
4- Oylum I. (Former Beşiktaş Municipality CHP Council Member)
