As part of an investigation conducted by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Provincial Gendarmerie Command carried out an operation at Egeşehir Yapı Planlama Müşavirlik ve Teknoloji A.Ş., a subsidiary of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality. Detention warrants were issued for four suspects in the investigation on allegations of "rigging bids," "forming an organization for the purpose of committing a crime," and "being a member of an organization."
During the operation, S.E., General Manager of Egeşehir Yapı Planlama Müşavirlik ve Teknoloji A.Ş., S.E., a representative of Erensan İnşaat, and M.Ö., an official from Okçuoğlu İnşaat Mühendislik Müşavirlik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., were detained.
It was learned that efforts to apprehend the former General Manager of İZBETON, H.S., are continuing as part of the investigation.
