CHP Youth Branch President Cem Aydın, who was detained by 8 police officers from his home where he lives with his family in the early hours of January 20, had his statement taken on the grounds of a post about Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek shared on the CHP Youth Branch social media account.

THE POST THAT LED TO CEM AYDIN'S DETENTION

The post that led to CHP Youth Branch President Cem Aydın being detained at his home in the early hours of the morning was a video titled "Anatomy of the MOBILE GUILLOTINE: Akın Gürlek," shared yesterday (19.01.2025) on the official X account of the CHP Youth Branch.

The video includes statements made by CHP leader Özel regarding Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek, both during his time as parliamentary group deputy chairman in parliament, and following the appointment of a trustee to the Esenyurt Municipality and the detention of Beşiktaş Mayor Rıza Akpolat.
