Breaking News: Prosecution submits interim opinion in Aziz İhsan Aktaş case! Release of 3 people requested

On the seventh day of the Aziz İhsan Aktaş Criminal Organization trial, the prosecutor submitted an interim opinion to the court.

The prosecutor stated that they requested the continued detention of a total of 30 defendants, including Zeydan Karalar, Oya Tekin, Rıza Akpolat, Utku Caner Çaykara, and Kadir Aydar. It was argued that these defendants face serious charges within the scope of criminal organization activities, that evidence has not yet been fully collected, and that there is a risk of flight.

In contrast, the release of İbrahim Halil Çalış, Oktay Aktaş, and İbrahim Koçyiğit under judicial control was requested. The prosecutor stated that it would be appropriate to release these three individuals, considering the scope of the case file and the duration of their detention, but that judicial control measures are necessary to prevent them from evading trial.
