As part of an investigation initiated by the Terrorism Financing and Money Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau, coordinated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out by teams from the Adana Police Department's Cyber Crimes Branch, a dawn operation was conducted on May 14 across 21 provinces, centered in Adana, targeting crimes including 'establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes,' 'illegal betting,' 'qualified fraud using information systems,' 'bribery,' and 'laundering assets derived from crime.' During the operation, 161 suspects were detained, including the organization's leader, Selahattin A.U., and the pro-government journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı. While 7 suspects were released by the prosecutor's office following their questioning at the police station, 154 suspects were referred to the courthouse. The prosecutor released 10 of the 154 suspects pending trial under judicial control, while referring 144 suspects, including journalist Rasim Ozan Kütahyalı, to the duty magistrate judge with a request for their arrest.

A total of 135 suspects, including Kütahyalı, who appeared before the judge, were arrested. 9 individuals were released by the court pending trial under judicial control.
