WHAT HAPPENED?
Ata Emre Akman (20), a student at the Balıkesir University Faculty of Tourism, Department of Tourism Guidance, had gone to Emir Street in the Karaoğlan neighborhood of the Karesi district on the evening of May 10 to deliver a pizza ordered from the company where he had started working as a motorcycle courier 5 days prior.
After delivering the pizza, E.Ö. approached Akman as he was walking toward his motorcycle parked on the street and attacked him with a knife. Akman, who received 10 stab wounds to various parts of his body, lost his life at the scene, while E.Ö., who fled, was caught by police teams and arrested by the judgeship before which he was brought.
