FINAL REPORT WILL BE SHARED WITH THE PUBLIC

The MSB announced that the report to be prepared following the ongoing investigation will be shared with the public. The statement expressed that a transparent briefing will be provided once the process is completed.

The following statements were included in the MSB's announcement:

Statements targeting our Turkish Armed Forces made by a political party leader for political motives are clear disinformation aimed at misleading the public. The expressions in question, which are not based on any concrete data, contain baseless allegations aimed at undermining our Turkish Armed Forces in the eyes of the public, and official statements are being deliberately distorted.

In particular, the grave and baseless expressions regarding the incident where our 20 heroic comrades-in-arms were martyred after crashing on the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, where even the number of our martyrs was stated incorrectly, are the product of a malicious approach. The technical investigation immediately launched regarding our crashed C-130 aircraft is being conducted meticulously and in all its dimensions. The final report to be prepared will be shared with the public transparently after the relevant processes are completed. A criminal complaint has been filed regarding the matter, and legal action has been initiated. It is of great importance not to give credence to groundless claims and accusations, speculative and manipulative statements and comments that are not based on concrete evidence regarding issues concerning our national security, and to take into account the official statements to be made.
