Muhittin Böcek denied the allegations in question through a statement made by his lawyers.

"Dear residents of Antalya, I found it appropriate to make this statement following the news I saw in some media outlets this morning. As mentioned in the reports, I have not made any application regarding the investigation conducted by the Antalya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office."

In his statement, Böcek also touched upon his health condition, noting that his treatment process continues due to the ailments he is experiencing.
"I spent 108 days in intensive care during the Covid process. Currently, I am able to stay on my feet by using 15 medications a day. I have been referred to the hospital 4 times. I have serious problems with muscle and weight loss, diabetes, heart, blood pressure, prostate, and kidney values. My lung condition also continues. These baseless reports have saddened me."
