The drug test results for Fenerbahçe President Sadettin Saran, who was summoned to give a statement and released under judicial control as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of 'supplying narcotic substances, using narcotic substances, and facilitating the use of narcotic substances,' have been released.
The result of the drug test Saran underwent at the Council of Forensic Medicine came back positive.
It was determined that blood, urine, hair, and nail samples were taken from Saran, and the hair sample tested positive for cocaine. It was reported that the tests on the other samples were negative.
Journalist Alican Uludağ stated in a post on his social media account: "Sadettin Saran's nail, blood, and urine tests came back negative. This indicates that Saran has not used drugs in the near term and that the cocaine use was from an earlier date. The prosecutor's office will now summon Saran for a new statement and ask him about this cocaine result."
