Breaking News... Will Syrian military students serve in the TSK? Response from the Ministry of National Defense

The Ministry of National Defense made important statements during its weekly press briefing.

The meeting was held at the Ministry of National Defense Martyr Journalist Hasan Tahsin Press Briefing Hall. Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press and Public Relations Advisor and Ministry Spokesperson, provided information on current issues.

Aktürk stated that Syrian military students are receiving training at the National Defense University (MSÜ) within the framework of the "Memorandum of Understanding on Joint Training and Consultancy." However, he emphasized that it is out of the question for these students to serve in the ranks of the Turkish Armed Forces. This statement put an end to speculations that Syrian students would serve in the TSK.
