Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who was detained following allegations made by crime syndicate leader and confessor Aziz İhsan Aktaş, shared a video message. Karalar stated, "We will fight against these. God will surely hold those who commit injustice accountable."

As part of an investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding allegations of corruption, detention warrants were issued for numerous individuals, including Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar and Adıyaman Mayor Abdurrahman Tutdere.

Zeydan Karalar, who was detained in Gebze, shared the moment of his detention on his X account.

In the video he shared, Karalar gave a message of struggle and said, "Rest assured, God is great. God will surely hold those who commit injustice accountable."

Karalar used the following expressions:

“My dear brothers and sisters, I am in Gebze today. I am at my sister's place. They came to take me in connection with an investigation in Istanbul. The world knows that I have nothing to do with money, wealth, or trickery. But this is a process. We will fight against these. Rest assured, God is great.
