Bribery operation at İpsala Customs Gate: 20 customs officers detained
In an operation targeting customs officers working at the İpsala Customs Gate in Edirne, 20 suspects have been detained. Simultaneous searches were conducted at various addresses, and digital materials along with evidence relevant to the investigation were seized.

Teams from the Edirne Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime (KOM) Branch conducted an operation targeting customs officers working at the İpsala Customs Gate.
Within the scope of the ongoing investigation, authorities took action in the early hours of the morning based on evidence in the case file and telephone conversations of an individual suspected of having links to a criminal organization.
As part of the operation, 20 customs officers working at the İpsala Customs Gate were detained. Simultaneous searches were carried out at the addresses of 11 suspects in Keşan and 9 suspects in İpsala.
During the searches conducted at these addresses, digital materials and various pieces of evidence to be examined as part of the investigation were seized.
It was reported that the processing of the detained suspects at the police station is ongoing and the investigation into the incident continues.
