Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated that bridges and highways operated by the General Directorate of Highways will be free of charge for 9 days by the decision of President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Minister Uraloğlu stated the following:
"We will impose administrative fines on companies that engage in illegal transport, operate without a travel permit, drop off or pick up passengers in unauthorized locations, and sell bus tickets at exorbitant prices."
