BRSA warns: Beware of scammers!

The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) has warned citizens against "scammers posing as agency personnel." The statement, which noted an increase in fraud cases recently, urged citizens to be cautious against fraud attempts and to avoid falling victim to any such incidents. 

The BRSA reported that it has recently received information that individuals posing as BRSA executives or personnel have been making phone calls to make various demands. 

The statement included the following remarks: 

"It is kindly requested that organizations and citizens act cautiously against these fraud attempts and do not give credence to unverified calls to avoid being exposed to any fraud incidents."
