Brutally assaulted 66-year-old woman with a stick and a bicycle
In Afyonkarahisar, a 66-year-old woman was hospitalized after being beaten with a stick and struck with a bicycle by her neighbor, with whom she had argued over dogs entering her garden.

The incident took place in the Yıldırım neighborhood of the Sultandağı district. According to the information obtained, a woman named Güler K. (66) argued with her neighbor, S.I., because the neighbor's dogs were scattering her garden. As the argument turned into a fight, Güler K. was assaulted by S.I. Upon notification by bystanders, Güler K. was taken to Bolvadin State Hospital by an ambulance that arrived at the scene. Güler K., who suffered injuries to her head and various parts of her body, was discharged after her treatment. Speaking to an İHA reporter about the incident, Güler K. said, "I wanted to show my neighbor across the street, S.I., the damage caused to my garden by the stray dog she feeds. She started shouting 'it's not mine' and insulting me. She took the stick I had bought to chase away the dogs from my hand and started hitting me with it. She also picked up her bicycle and hit me in the chest 3-4 times. I collapsed to the ground. I was injured on my head, shoulder, and arm. In a state of panic, I called an ambulance; they sent me from the hospital here to Bolvadin State Hospital. I was beaten at this age, and I am still in pain," she said.
It was reported that S.I. was taken into custody by the police following the incident and that the investigation is ongoing.
