Businessman Yılmaz Ulusoy laid to rest

Businessman Yılmaz Ulusoy has passed away at the hospital where he was receiving treatment. Following a funeral ceremony held in Istanbul for the 84-year-old Ulusoy, he was laid to rest at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.

It was learned that Yılmaz Ulusoy, a partner of Ulusoy Shipping and Chairman of the Board of Yılmaz Ulusoy Holding, had been receiving treatment for a long time due to a blood clot.

A ceremony was held for Yılmaz Ulusoy, who passed away at the age of 84, at the Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque in Levent. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Chief Advisor to the President Akif Çağatay Kılıç, former Minister of Interior Muammer Güler, former Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Süleyman Soylu, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, Turkish Football Federation (TFF) President İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, Galatasaray Sports Club President Dursun Özbek, and Fenerbahçe Sports Club President Ali Koç, as well as prominent figures from the arts community, and Ulusoy's family and loved ones.

Yılmaz Ulusoy's relatives accepted condolences in the mosque courtyard. Following the funeral prayer held after the noon prayer, Ulusoy was taken to Zincirlikuyu Cemetery to be laid to rest.
