Eight people, including Adana Metropolitan Mayor Zeydan Karalar and Büyükçekmece Deputy Mayor Ahmet Şahin, were referred to court for arrest after being detained as part of three investigations launched into municipalities over "corruption" allegations.
The court ordered house arrest for Tutdere. In the investigation, Büyükçekmece Deputy Mayor Ahmet Şahin and his driver Sonkan Turan were arrested.
