The Cabinet Meeting will be held at the Palace today. During the meeting, which will be chaired by AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, political steps that can be taken in post-Assad Syria will be evaluated.
According to NTV, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan recently held important contacts in Doha, the capital of Qatar. In particular, Hakan Fidan's contacts with the Foreign Ministers of Iran and Russia, two countries with influence over Syria, will also be evaluated.
Turkey is also closely following the movements of the terrorist organization PKK/YPG in Syria. Ankara had announced through various channels that it would not allow a fait accompli in the region and would not give passage to terrorist organizations. Steps to be taken against the terrorist organization in light of intelligence data will also be evaluated.
