AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is expected to lead the Cabinet Meeting, with the most important agenda item being the new resolution process referred to as a 'Terror-Free Turkey'. Following the terrorist organization PKK's so-called congress, eyes have turned to a potential announcement regarding laying down arms and dissolution.
Following this potential development, how organization members will surrender their weapons and the regulations to be made in Parliament regarding the legal dimension of the process will be addressed. The Cabinet will evaluate the roadmap to be followed on this matter.
The latest situation in Syria will also be discussed at the meeting. Turkey's border security and the potential effects of developments in the region will be handled comprehensively. Among foreign policy topics, the ceasefire process in Gaza will hold an important place.
On the domestic agenda, reconstruction efforts in the earthquake zone will be evaluated. In particular, preparations for the delivery of the 250,000th residence, which will be held next month with the participation of President Erdoğan, will also be on the meeting's agenda.
