According to official figures, more than 53 thousand people lost their lives, many others were never heard from again, and the wounds of the February 6 earthquakes have never healed since that day. The second anniversary of the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes was marked by commemorative events held in recent days. The legal struggle initiated by grieving families who lost their loved ones to hold those responsible accountable continues with hearings where impunity prevails.

The Families Seeking Justice Platform, formed by relatives of earthquake victims to ensure those responsible are tried, has called on the public to ensure that the trials are conducted in a fair and meticulous manner.

The call for support issued by the Families Seeking Justice Platform, which shared the hearing calendar for February, included the following statements:

'WE SEE THAT JUSTICE IS STILL MOVING SLOWLY'

"The cases opened to ensure that those responsible for the earthquake are held accountable before the law continue on their second anniversary. However, we see that justice is still moving slowly; many responsible parties are either not being tried or are being released. It is time to raise our voices even louder to change this course!

As the Families Seeking Justice Platform, we call on all concerned citizens, legal professionals, and non-governmental organizations to support the earthquake trials and attend the hearings."

The hearing calendar shared by the platform is as follows:
