Call from Teoman: 'Do not kill Mahir Polat'

Famous singer Teoman has issued a call for the release of IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, who has not been released despite health problems. 

The social media campaign for the release of Mahir Polat, who is currently imprisoned at the Marmara Prison in Silivri and faces a life-threatening condition, continues.

In addition to politicians, numerous artists are also reiterating the demand for Polat's release via social media.

Singer Teoman also shared a post on his social media accounts with the hashtag "Free Mahir Polat" (#MahirPolatSerbestBırakılsın), using an image that included the phrase "Do not kill Mahir Polat."

POLAT’S HEALTH CONDITION

IMM Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, who was arrested as part of an operation targeting the IMM, has been awaiting release for some time due to health issues.

Making a statement today (Sunday, April 6), Polat’s lawyer Erkam Erdem shared the blood pressure readings of the imprisoned Mahir Polat and stated that his life remains in danger.

It is known that Polat, who has been referred to the hospital many times in recent days, is at risk of a heart attack and brain hemorrhage due to hypertension.
