Call from the Diyanet to smokers

President of Religious Affairs Ali Erbaş has issued a call to end the habit of smoking.

Erbaş shared a message on his social media account on the occasion of February 9, World No Tobacco Day.

In his message, Erbaş drew attention to the fact that millions of people around the world continue to lose their lives every year due to diseases caused by smoking, and used the following expressions: 

"For the sake of our health, our family, and our future, let us make today an occasion for a new beginning and put an end to this great danger, which is also forbidden in our religion, as soon as possible."
