Can Holding investigation leads to resignation within Koç Holding: He has stepped down from all his positions
As part of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into Can Holding, former Şişecam Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kırman, who was issued a travel ban, has resigned from his positions at Koç Holding.

Kırman stated that he made the decision to step down in order to contribute to the smooth progress of the process. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kırman, who was an Independent Board Member at Koç Holding, announced his decision to resign with the following statement:
"I have decided to step down from all my active duties in order to contribute to the smooth progress of the ongoing investigation in which my name has recently appeared, to prevent any organization, institution, or company from becoming the subject of unfair and unnecessary controversy, and furthermore, to fulfill my responsibilities regarding family health issues that have developed unexpectedly with close attention.
I hereby inform the relevant authorities and the public that I will continue to contribute to all processes with transparency."
STATEMENT FROM KOÇ HOLDING REGARDING KIRMAN
According to the report in T24, following Kırman's decision, Koç Holding stated the following in its material disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP):
"Our Independent Board Member Mr. Ahmet Kırman, who has been serving on our company's board of directors since April 3, 2025, has resigned from his position at his own request.
Work has begun to determine a new independent member candidate in accordance with the Capital Markets Board's Corporate Governance Communiqué, and developments regarding the matter will be shared with our investors.
