Car plunges into a creek in Hatay: 2 dead, 2 critically injured!

A car has plunged into a creek in Hatay. Two people lost their lives in the accident, while two others were critically injured.

The accident occurred in the Konuk Neighborhood area on the Reyhanlı-Antakya road.

According to initial findings, the car with license plate 31 ANJ 095 crashed into a bus stop on the side of the road after the driver lost control of the steering wheel, subsequently plunging into the creek.

Upon notification by citizens who witnessed the accident, AFAD, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The 4 people in the vehicle were rescued by the teams and taken to the hospital.

It was reported that 2 of the 4 individuals, who were learned to be foreign nationals, lost their lives at the hospital they were taken to, while the condition of the other 2 injured remains critical.

Teams are searching to see if there were any other individuals in the vehicle.
