Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the efforts to remove the cargo plane that landed on its fuselage at Istanbul Airport have been successfully completed, and that the runway was meticulously cleaned following the aircraft's removal.

In a post on his social media account, Uraloğlu provided information regarding the removal of the cargo plane, which landed on its fuselage on the Istanbul Airport runway after its front landing gear failed to deploy.
Stating that the removal of the cargo plane by the teams was successfully completed, Uraloğlu noted the following:
"Our runway was meticulously cleaned after the aircraft was towed away. Our teams, who are truly experts in their field, carried out an organized and very meticulous operation that lasted for hours on the runway area. They demonstrated an intervention and work performance that will set an example for preventing such situations that could lead to dire consequences."
Minister Uraloğlu congratulated the personnel who acted with a cool head, creating a strategy and action plan from the very first minutes the incident began, and added, "I once again convey my best wishes to the cargo plane's personnel and our Istanbul Airport employees.
May God protect our country, our nation, and all of humanity from all kinds of accidents and disasters." he stated.
