In the case of Ayhan Bora Kaplan, who was arrested on charges of being an organized crime leader after being caught attempting to flee the country, 3 more people have been released.
According to T24's report; retired non-commissioned officer Uğur Pekşen, one of the detained defendants, along with Hasan Can Saraçoğlu and Hasan Aslantaş, were released by the Ankara 33rd High Criminal Court, which serves as a higher court, following an objection by their lawyer.
Pekşen, one of those released, had been detained alongside Ayhan Bora Kaplan during an operation at Esenboğa Airport while serving as his bodyguard.
Last week, the Ankara 33rd High Criminal Court, acting as a higher court, had also released Tansel Aktan, one of the critical defendants in the file and known as a close associate of Kaplan.
