Caught on camera, then caught by police
Two female thieves who stole jewelry worth 300 thousand TL from the home of a pilot, Ç.T., in Eyüpsultan have been taken into custody by police. It was learned that the two female thieves dressed elegantly to avoid drawing attention.

In an incident that occurred on October 30 on Üskütme Street in the Göktürk neighborhood of Eyüpsultan, pilot Ç.T. returned home in the evening to find his door forced open and jewelry worth 300 thousand TL stolen from the house, prompting him to notify the police.
Following the theft report, teams from the Eyüpsultan District Police Department and the Public Security Branch Office's Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau were dispatched to the scene.
After conducting fingerprint analysis at the scene, the teams reviewed the building's security camera footage, examining images of two elegantly dressed women in the elevator and hallway. The Theft Bureau teams identified the suspects from the camera footage and took 26-year-old Gülay M., who has 29 prior criminal records, and 25-year-old Selma D., who has 18 prior criminal records, into custody.
