Cause of death for race announcer Esen Gök determined

The autopsy report for race announcer Esen Gök, who was found dead in her home in Bakırköy, has been completed. The Council of Forensic Medicine announced that Gök's death was caused by hanging and that no signs of assault or cuts were found on her body.

On July 19, relatives of race announcer Esen Gök, unable to reach her, notified the police. Upon the report, teams entered the home in Bakırköy's Osmaniye neighborhood with the help of a locksmith and discovered Gök's lifeless body hanging from a natural gas pipe with a bedsheet.

DOOR LOCKED, NO SIGNS OF FORCED ENTRY

Initial investigations at the scene determined that the door was locked from the inside, the key was still in the lock, and there were no signs of forced entry.

AUTOPSY RESULTS REVEALED 

Esen Gök's body was taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine's Morgue Specialization Department. The autopsy conducted there found no traces of any illicit substances in her body. The report concluded that there were no signs of assault or cuts on Gök's body and that death occurred due to hanging while she was alive. It was confirmed that the death was the result of hanging. The report has been sent to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

A note, believed to have been written by Esen Gök, was also found at the scene. The note read, "Sister, you are not responsible; you never did anything wrong. I was always looking for an excuse."
