CBRT reserves hit a record high
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has announced its weekly money and banking statistics. Total reserves increased by 4 billion 92 million dollars in the week of December 13 compared to the previous week, reaching 163 billion 482 million dollars, the highest level of all time.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has announced its weekly money and banking statistics.
Accordingly, as of December 13, the Central Bank's gross foreign exchange reserves increased by 3 billion 164 million dollars to 98 billion 175 million dollars. Gross foreign exchange reserves stood at 95 billion 11 million dollars on December 6.
During this period, gold reserves increased by 928 million dollars, rising from 64 billion 379 million dollars to 65 billion 307 million dollars.
Thus, the Central Bank's total reserves increased by 4 billion 92 million dollars in the week of December 13 compared to the previous week, rising from 159 billion 390 million dollars to 163 billion 482 million dollars.
