Former Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Celal Doğan (80) has been hospitalized after falling ill in the Bodrum district of Muğla.
According to the information received, Celal Doğan fell ill for reasons yet to be determined at the hotel where he was staying. After receiving initial treatment on-site, Doğan was taken by ambulance to a private hospital in the district. It was learned that Doğan is conscious and his general health condition is good.
Celal Doğan, who served three terms as a member of parliament and three terms as the Mayor of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, also held the position of president of the Gaziantepspor Club between 1993 and 2006.
