Prof. Dr. Celal Şengör, who recently announced his decision to move out of Istanbul, has finally explained his reasons. The statements made by Celal Şengör, who was a guest on Fatih Altaylı's YouTube program, have become a hot topic on social media.

"LOOTING WILL BEGIN AFTER THE EARTHQUAKE"

Celal Şengör said, "An earthquake occurred in Istanbul, fires broke out. Everyone is on the street, where will you run? Where will you get your food from? Fires will break out after the earthquake. Where will you run? Looting will begin. Rapes will begin. How many Afghans are there in Istanbul?"

Şengör stated the following:

"An earthquake occurred in Istanbul. Imagine fires breaking out in Nişantaşı. Everyone is on the street, where will they run? How will they escape? Where will they get their food, where will they find water? You cannot escape from Nişantaşı. I cannot escape from Anadolu Hisarı either. Some simpletons say; there are faults where Celal Hoca is running to as well. Don't I know this? A fault passes in front of my house in Çanakkale. But this house was built accordingly. The area around here is completely empty. All roads will be blocked there. I cannot escape."
