Television commentator Cem Küçük, who was detained on charges of 'publicly disseminating misleading information' and 'blackmail,' was referred to the courthouse. It was learned that the investigation into Küçük, who was dismissed from TGRT and Türkiye newspaper where he worked, was initiated following complaints regarding his alleged social media posts made in exchange for financial gain from certain business people, as well as some statements he made in the media during the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) investigation process. Following his statement to the prosecutor, Küçük was referred to the criminal judgeship of peace with a request for his arrest solely on the charge of "publicly disseminating misleading information."  

Following the judgeship interrogation, an arrest warrant was issued for Küçük.
