Cem Küçük calls on Ali Yerlikaya to appoint a trustee to IMM: He even set a time

Following the announcement of the indictment regarding the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), Cem Küçük has called for a trustee to be appointed to the municipality. Küçük addressed Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, even specifying a time for the action.

The indictment regarding the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has been completed after 237 days. The indictment was announced to the public by Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek during a press conference.

CALL FOR A TRUSTEE FROM KÜÇÜK

Immediately after the indictment was announced, Cem Küçük, known for his proximity to the government, made a call to Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya during a live broadcast on TGRT, even specifying a time for a trustee to be appointed to the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

"I haven't said this until today, and you know my stance; for instance, regarding absolute nullity or in Bayrampaşa, I was saying that the CHP won with the people, but after seeing this indictment, Mr. Ali Yerlikaya should appoint a trustee to the IMM tomorrow morning at 7:00."

UP TO 2,352 YEARS IN PRISON SOUGHT FOR İMAMOĞLU

In the completed IMM indictment, a 3,900-page document was prepared against İmamoğlu, including charges such as "establishing a criminal organization for profit," "leaking data," and "public damage."

According to the prosecution, one of Ekrem İmamoğlu's goals was to take over the CHP and become a presidential candidate. 402 people were charged, and up to 2,352 years in prison were requested for İmamoğlu.
